Counseling in Greenlandic and Faroese conditions

Counseling in Greenlandic and Faroese conditions

Greenland Advice was born out of a passion for supporting Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Our consultants have amassed years of experience as advisors in Greenlandic and Faroese affairs. Deep roots in both regions – linguistically, culturally and through family ties – have enabled us to build an extensive professional network of politicians, business people and media contacts. Our mission is to act as bridge builders between the communities within the Danish realm. We want to share knowledge, create dialogue and facilitate collaboration between individuals, companies, organisations and other stakeholders who may be interested in activities focusing on Greenland and the Faroe Isles. This also includes interested parties from Greenland and Faroe Islands with activities focused on Denmark.

The North Atlantic and Arctic areas are attracting an ever-increasing amount of attention – not only from Denmark but also internationally. Competition to get involved in the region’s development is growing, creating a need for consultancy and investment driven by a respect and understanding of the local nature, culture and inhabitants. The services we offer include:

Professional advice and sparring re. business, political and culturalmatters in Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Denmark - all from a Greenlandicand Faroese perspective.

Assistance in creating contacts and building partnerships with relevant people, companies or institutions in all three regions.

Support for projects and fundraising, as well as the planning and conducting of events, conferences, meetings etc.

Lectures about Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and how we collaborate with Denmark.

"Lotte's analytical skills will be instrumental in solving any tasks she may be given. In all the years we have worked together, her efforts have always been characterised by dedication, accuracy, and a determination to get things done properly. I am therefore delighted to give her my highest recommendation.”

"We were extremely impressed with the results she managed to deliver while working on this project.”

“Lotte was attached to the ‘UNICEF BY 2018’ project in Gentofte Municipality and also acted as a consultant for cultural events in UNICEF City’s regime. Utilizing her extensive network and knowledge of relevant institutions and media in both Denmark and Greenland." Utilizing her extensive network and knowledge of relevant institutions and media in both Denmark and Greenland, Lotte played a very active role in maximizing the success of UNICEF City’s donation collection efforts. She took it upon herself to persuade Ellen Hillingsø and Nukaka Coster-Waldau to become primary ambassadors for the cause. She also helped to raise major donations to UNICEF City through cooperative agreements with the private sector. In the Municipality of Gentofte, we have viewed Lotte Brøns Symes as a colleague and sparring partner with a wide breadth of knowledge, a huge network, and a wealth of creative ideas. Lotte is authoritative and analytical by nature, never losing sight of the overall strategy She is not afraid to think big, and works tirelessly to achieve her very ambitious goals We were extremely impressed with the results she managed to deliver while working on this project.”

Per Sohl

"Things were in control, Lotte is fabulous at talking to people and has a solid network throughout the community"

“Due to Lotte's broad general knowledge and many contacts, her duties for the Greenlandic Government became broader in their scope than traditional ministerial secretarial duties. She always kept things under control. Lotte is intelligent, gifted and first-rate at talking to all sorts of people, which I take the liberty of attributing to her strong Greenlandic genes. This trait, combined with her excellent language skills, has enabled her to develop a solid network throughout the community of the Danish Realm. I can only give Lotte my warmest recommendations.”
